Life in Wimbledon

For those of you that are thinking about relocating to the Wimbledon area, we have some information for you!

From Wimbledon it is an easy commute into central London.

The train to Waterloo takes 25-30 minutes from Wimbledon Station. Here you also have the District Line (tube) which takes you all the way to Paddington Station in about 32 minutes. There are also buses that easily transports you around the area to wherever you would want to go. In London (where most things take about an hour), this is a good commute time for most travel needs. There have also been major improvements to the bicycle network in the UK capital in the recent years, so there are opportunities to cycle to work or activities.

We encourage using the TFL (Transport For London) information when venturing out of the area. https://tfl.gov.uk

Google Maps is also widely used for this purpose.

There are many shops in the area, and for easy online grocery shopping, there are many different options to choose from. We would advise a quick Internet search to access these services if needed.
